Beavers Visit Santa at Buttercup Farm
         On Wednesday 1st December 44 Beavers accompanied by 5 leaders, & 3 Helpers headed to Visit Santa in Buttercup Farm.They all travelled by Bus leaving Charleville at 5.30 p.m.The lads were all in full voice on the bus and were in high spirits when they arrived at Buttercup Farm. Upon arrival they were shown to the barn where Santa's reindeers were resting and eveybody's favourite was Rudolf with his shiny red nose.They next met Mrs Claus who took them on a tour of Santa's house stopping off to see Santa's bedroom on the way, she then took them to see Santa's workshop where all the toys were almost ready for Christmas.                                  
           Mrs Claus then took them to meet the great man himself where each boy spoke to Santa and told him how good they were and what presents they had asked for at Christmas.Santa told all the boys to make sure they done everything their Parents Teachers and Leaders asked them to do, he also asked them to make sure and leave out some food and drink for him on Christmas eve and also some carrots for his reindeers.He then gave each boy a present and all the boys were delighted with meeting Santa.                                               Following their visit to Santa they had a Disco and some party games followed by Some food ,refreshments and some welcome ice cream.Finally before their visit to Buttercup farm was over they were all treated to a ride on Santa's sleigh.This was a magical outing for the boys and the joy on their faces on the way home was there for all to see.
